Made in America | Filson Factory Tour

Seattle, Washington | August ’16

In an age of foreign-made consumer products, it is a relief to find a brand with deep roots in American manufacturing.  One of our favorite brands stays true to its founding in the Pacific North West.

Nestled in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle, C.C. Filson Co. shows off their product’s craftsmanship, longevity, and classic manufacturing techniques.  At this facility, Filson uses old school Singer sewing machines to assemble their famous canvas and bridal leather luggage.  Committing to their American factories, they have been able to keep a watchful eye over their production processes and continue to innovate their current and future products in-house.

To top an incredible factory tour, Filson has built a beautiful retail space, showcasing nearly every product in their line up.  Nearly impossible to walk out empty handed.

If you ever find yourself in the Seattle area, visit our friends at Filson and see how their American heritage has inspired industry leading products.
