Yesterday was our last Continental Shoot of the season and it was a good one.
The clods were threatening to open up, so we started a bit earlier and did not waste any time once everyone was at their pegs. It was a good call because we got in the shoot with only a random rain drop. The wind was picking up a bit with the oncoming storm and the birds were flying high and fast!
If you want high birds, this would have been your shoot!
Can’t wait for next season. The first shoot of the season will be the opening day dove shoot on September 1. If you are interested, we are taking names now.
